What I would recommend is to go through various stair lifts manufacturer websites, like the ones we list on our site, and read up on who they are, how long they have been around, and what kind of equipment they have. This is a great start. You'll be amazed at how much you will learn.

Now that you have a much better idea on the equipment and different companies, you can call and speak to the company reps on the phone. This will give you a good feel for the company and how you can expect to be treated, as well as how each company is different. I recommend speaking to at least 3-4 different reps so that you have a good amount of products to compare and make your best choice.

It is also a great idea to get a few of each companies recent installation contacts and call them up. Getting a firsthand review from an actual customer is one of the best ways to know if you are dealing with a company that you would want to do business with. How were they treated? How did the process go? Were they happy with the installation? Do they recommend the company? All of this will lead you to making a solid decision on your stair lift.
